Our Instructors are American Heart Association accredited, highly qualified and up to date with the latest trends and best practices and training standards in the Healthcare industry. They are also dedicated to adapting to the special needs of clients who have probably never had the opportunity in their lives to learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Chief Medical Educator Officer
Simone Ardis, Co-founder of Heart Emergency Training Institute. She is an expert in training PALS, BLS, CPR and First Aid, American Heart Association lifesaving education skills. She oversees a diverse portfolio of initiatives, including community learning engagement, leadership development and international rural capacity building programs.Â
She has created and scaled a global First Aid and CPR education program built for a non-clinical professional based on AHA guidelines.Â
She brings over a decade of experience in healthcare management with a deep expertise in program design, collaboratives and continue education partnerships.

Dr. Elma Carvalho, is a Co-founder of Heart Emergency Institute and her core responsibilities includes leading and aligning the most critical aspects of practical knowledge related to real-world cardiac emergencies with the Heart Emergency Training Institute’s mission and values. She is a passion driven medical doctor, hospital administrator with 20 years of experience and cardiovascular emergency training instructor. She has traveled with the company to several countries with the mission of providing healthcare education curriculum to professionals. As American Heart Association instructor she is bravely committed to living in a world in which everyone worldwide is empowered to save lives.

Communication Director
Gil Barradas, is a Co-founder leads the company’s external and internal communications, where he works to build the institutes’s brand as a magnetic, inspiring home base for healthcare education that has a global social impact. He is a stroke survivor, using his second chance in life to train others with the vitals skills that kept him alive. He coordinates operations, partnership management, instructors alignments, as well as Heart Emergency training Institute events and institute’s press.
